The Chippewa Falls Police Department is proud to announce that Master Patrol Officer Deb Brettingen was promoted to Patrol Sergeant on 07-12-16.  Prior to her promotion, Sergeant Brettingen was the Sensitive Crimes Investigator.

The Police Department also wishes to congratulate Master Patrol Officer Jason Jacobson for receiving the assignment of Financial Crimes Investigator.  Prior to his assignment, Investigator Jacobson was a patrol officer and the department's Arson Investigator.

If you see either Sgt. Brettingen or Inv. Jacobson around town, feel free to congratulate them on their hard work and dedication to the department!

This is a list of found bicycles currently being stored at the Chippewa Falls Police Department.  The bikes be will sold publicly at Sold4U online auction www.sold4uauctions.com after August 8th, 2016.  
 
If you have a lost or stolen bicycle that matches one of the bikes listed, please contact the Chippewa Falls Police Department at 715-723-4424 ext. 390 before August 8th, 2016.  Please be prepared to provide the Make, Model, Color or any other distinguishing characteristics to help us better identify it.

Reminder on Parking Ordinances:

• Ord. 7.09(2)(d): No person shall park a vehicle within 8 feet of either side of a private mailbox located in a boulevard adjacent to a city Street in the City between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday of each week.
• Ord. 7.09(3)(b): No person shall park or leave parked any vehicle on any street in the City for more than 24 consecutive hours
